I haved tried that.
I used a fat battery, converted it to Pandora, used it on a SLIM PSP, it unbricked it and I worked like it was a Fat Psp.

Here was my problem...When I put the Slim Battery back on to Slim to run off the battery...it seemed as if the slim did not recognized its own battery anymore...

I converted the Pandora back to its normal use off my Fat psp and put it on the Slim and it recognized it...

I think my problem was is that I tried to convert the Pandora back to its normal use off the Slim but it was not able to because Slim does not come with 1.50 kernel or addons.

So I guess the Slim recognized fat battery.

One hour later, I used my ac adapter to install homebrew games on the slim and played them to test them...I later put the slim battery back in with ac adapter still on and then it started to recognize the slim battery...weird....I guess it was a matter of time.

OK i have a fat and a 3000. the fat is loaded w 3.71 m33 . I put my slim battery in it (after modding the original fat battery) It started to charge and booted the fat psp. Then shut down. No longer charging. No its not recognized in any psp's. Ive got my friends slim psp w custom firmware and it doesnt recognize it either. and now his battery stopped working. No im really screwed if I cant fix this Im gonna have to buy three batteries to replace them all. By the way I also tried to fix the modded fat battery and it gets recognized but wont charge and wont boot. Help please this could be costly for me.
