Is it possible to check if I have iextreme F/W

Hi,

I have an xbox 360 that has had its firmware changed to either iextreme of extreme. Is there any way I can check to see if I have the iextreme F/W and not the extreme firmware I'm pretty sure it is the iextreme 1.0 F/W but not 100% sure.

I have stealth patched games that boot up fine would thay still work if I had the extreme F/W, as a friend of mine has a 360 with extreme F/W I think and some of my games will not work on his system. Just wondered if that was one way of knowing.

If you made a backup without the security sectors and tried to play it and it didn't work on your system but worked on your friends then you would know you have a version of ixtreme firmware but I'm not sure how you could identify what revision you have.

I was more the other way round I made a backup which passed stealth checks worked on mine didn't on my friends. So what your sort of saying I is I could check by making a backup without stealth and if it works on my xbox I don't have iextreme if it does not work I do.

Thank you for your help. sorry to be a plank but any tips on how to create the back up without stealth I use xbox backup creator (2.6 is the verison I have at the mo) can't see any option to turn off stealth, might just be over looking the obvious.

I would assume your friend might have an unstealthed game in his library maybe a game that's on a single layer dvd that works on his but hopefully not on yours?

I'm not up on xbox backup creator so I can't help you there.
