i just got a new psp it has version 3.95firmware i want to mod (if needed) my psp so i can play a .cso file
plz help me by giving step by step instructions
it's okay,,, you can upgrade it using this guide which i used..
but u have to have...
* A working, homebrew-capable PSP running at least 3.X OE / M33
* Memory Stick Pro Duo with at least 128MB of space
* PSP Battery
...
it's an easy step-by-step guide...
if u have any further Qs u r welcome to ask..
actually yes... as far as i know...
i don't think it's that complicated and newbie like me managed to do it just today,,,
look around for a friend volunteers to convert his battery and memory into pandora and magic memory stick...
the problem im having is when it says "First boot up the PSP into recovery mode (hold R during boot) and make sure the GAME folder homebrew setting is set to 3.X Kernel. Exit recovery mode." it dosent let me go into recovery mode, how do i fix that?
if you have fat psp with custom firmware ...you must have recovery menu...
make u sure you turn off ur psp completely by holding the power button few seconds, u'll see balck screen then power lite flashes a little...
then try booting while pressing the R buttom, hope it works...
The hardest part of the guide is getting a Pandora Battery. You have a few choices...
1) Find someone that already has a Pandora battery you can use.
2) Find somone that will create one for you.
3) Find a Custom firmwarePSP that can run the program to convert a normal battery to a Pandora Battery (Official firmware PSP can not run the program that converts the battery).
4) Hardmod your battery if it is compatible to be hardmodded.
5) Buy a Datel Tool Battery.
Once you get one of the above then the rest is pretty simple to do.
