Hey just need a little reassurance. My wii makes noise during playback of backups. It does the load loading noise, small beeps sometimes. I'm using maxell +R, do you think its running fine? I dont want to be putting any extra stress on the wii.

thanks

i think i had that problem before....
my wii was making clicking noises and some other noises
i found out that i was playing it too long every day so the system overheated. maybe this could be your problem... may not be.

Mine makes the same kind of sounds and its been running fine for over a year now. If you have a wiikey then lowering the drive speed from 6x to 3x can help reduce the noises.

if you have a chip then it could possibly be that you didn't screw all the screws tightly, or if you even screwed it on too tight that would make a vibration and loud noise.

Its not a rattling noise or anything, its a disk loading noise. I guess its normal, I was just making sure I wasn't killing my wii. I have a wiikey that's been professionally done. It was just that some games make barely any noise and some like metroid 3 go crazy and make a lot of noise.

Change the drive speed to 3x.
