Hi,

Was just wondering on this? The force unleashed demo was sup to be out today and yet again the playstation store is late on updating it's services. The demo was supposed to be out out today and it has been out on the 360 since this morning...

Talking about all of the ones, uk&us.

Is it that they have some once a week regular update day or whats the deal? And to think of it, why don't they utilize it more as a medium, it rarely gets anything new...

Anyone know?

Tuesday - Firmware updates (can be at anytime they release)
Thursday - PSN Store updates (can be at anytime they release)
Friday - Video Store updates (can be at anytime they release)

I don't see the big deal if it comes out later in the day, just get it later or tomorrow. Also sometimes they release stuff early (FW Updates etc.) but to say it rarely gets anything new is not true the last few weeks has been great for content.

I am also wondering why don't we have as many classic games to download here in the U.S. on the PSN. Japan has a Huge library when it comes to older ps1 games. I would purchase them instantly and I know many other gamers would to. FFVII-IX, Vagrant Story, Chrono Crisis....man I could get all my old school games all on my hard drive which makes it even sweeter. I don't know maybe they will expand it or maybe they are just looking at original PSN content, I really don't know. Hey the movies great I have family guy and Hook(its a classic i can't help it). I just thought id give my thought. Take it easy everyone.

Here's a simple solution for you, just buy the PS1 game on Ebay and play off the disc! Every PS3 has PS1 BC, though I could understand in terms of ease of use to play off the HD.

i dont really have a problem with PSN been late because i just read that XBL silver account have to wait a week after the demo releases and that kind of forces you to pay $60 for a gold account.. while we get it on the day for free

Ah, thanks for the info. Was just wondering about those dates. My original post may have come of a bit too negative. Was just wondering if they had some exact downtime/update time that i was not aware of.

I find my self browsing and downloading stuff from different versions of the ps store, have account for US,JP,UK and Scandinavia. Quite often i find stuff in one store that is not available on another one.

Just but a Japanese Playstation Network Card. You can still play the PS1 games off the Japanese PSN store on a North American PS3. I believe there's a video that actually shows you how to do it so you don't have be confused navigating the Japanese PSN Store.
