hi this is a question about connecting my 360 to my computer to stream video/music etc my main computer is upstairs and that is where my internet connection is i am connected to blueyonder i have the modem+belkin 4 router that connects 2 computers/one wireless access point and aconection to downstairs now when i connect my laptop downstairs i get a perfect connection. when i plug my 360 in (no computer) i can connect to xbox live and also stream from my upstairs computer.now my problem is that when i use another router downstairs(linksys wrt54gs)my laptop connects to the internet the 360 will connect to live but it will not connect to my computer so i can still stream. anyone out there that can give help/advice please?

Does your WRT54GS have security enabled (it does by default) and did you put the SSID name, type of encryption, and security key into the 360 settings? Did you forward the Xbox Live ports on the WRT54GS?

Did you set up a wireless home network on the second PC? Did you mp the network drive and eneable sharing on the connction and drive/folder you want to access?

It is harder to pinpoint the problem when you have that many pieces of equipment piggy backing off of one connection.

I have the same modem, and use the Linksys WGA54G wireless adapter with my 360. And my laptop connects wireless as well(internal card). So i am only working with one router, not two plus an access point.
