okay this my second xbox 360 bought from ebay the seller told me he tested it but it froze and 3 red flashing lights, but when i tried it my self with my own power supply it wont even power the fan,and the disc tray wont open it seems to power going inside but it does shows three red flashing lights and the power supply stays in yellow, what is the prob here, is my power supply has the probs?
well if the guy said it was broke why would you think it was your power supply? sounds like a bad mobo to me. you could try all of the usual fixes. check the stickys.

I no its broken but it should power up like he told me but when I tried it only flahing red lights cant even put the disc in coz it wont power up the disc drive and fan.
I replied to the wrong thread with this answer, i thought i had removed the other one. Sorry about that. :-P, but this is the right thread for my post. Your answer was go look for the error codes so i thought i would bring the error codes a little closer to help out.
Do you have access to another power brick to see what happens with a working power supply? Maybe a friend or coworker that can lend you one to test with?
