Pls post and/or send me an email as to how to play .iso and .cso files starting from nothing. basically i just bought psp and the games here are outrageously pricy!!!! GOOD GOD!!! can somebody pls help me as to how to do this..? i tried updating the firmware already.. its on 3.91 i i guess... but whats next??? i put in the iso/cso games in the iso folder i just created in the roor dir and still not working.... pls help.. if possible can you pls give me the links and the procedures in my mail or just post it here... thanks guys!!!

just in case... if ever... can you guys please give the detail of every detail of detail procedures starting from scratch??? THAAAAAANKKKKSS!!!!

well to help out anybody there who does not know where to find games you can try and search in www.torrent-finder.com type in psp games and you can download loads of thingies, gamed and whatever.... be sure to download bittorrent ofcourse so you can download the torrents.. if you do not know what you are doing just post here and ill give you the step by step of detail of every detail of detail procedures.

ok first 2 quick things

1) no email (spam bots use em) + its a forum people will answer you on here
2) not realy allowed to tell people how to download games though you didnt realy brake the rule

ok now for the help

in order to play psp iso and cso you will need to have custom firmware at the moment you are on offical firmware which does not allow you to play them.

in order to get cfw from 3.91 you will need to use pandoras battery it will install cfw direct to your psp

you will need to ether know someone or have a modded psp to make the magic memory stick and pandoras battery or you can hard mod the battery (you wont be able to re use it)

you can still make a magic memory stick on the pc without a modded psp and you can also buy a datel tool battery which is a ready modified battery.

it doesnt work on vista so use psp grader if you have vista

hope that helps you out google datel tool battery before you ask where to get it.

wot if u have a psp with its systems software 3.03?

do u need to downgrade it to 1.5 firmware to use cfw and where can u get the offical firmware and the cfw?

can u avoid downgrading the psp to play games that r in ISO format?

is it possible to downgraded it and then upgraded it back to the highest offical firmware, would it affect the psp abilty to play the iso files?

you need to ether downgrade to 1.50 and then update to 5.00m33 custom firmware (allows you to play isos... with the new ofw updates)

or you can use pandoras battery to install cfw in one go no need to downgrade then upgrade

so u downgrade it then download the custom firmware(?)or is it downgrade it which then allows u to use the umd emulator, then add the umd emulator and that should allow me to play games?

also when u upgrade it back does it hav to be the newest custom firmware?

right what firmeware are you on at the moment 3.03?

if so you have 2 choices

1) downgrade - you can do this through a exploit in GTA LCS but you can only do this on 3.03

2) pandoras - this uses the psp's service mode which allow the psp firmware to be booted off the memory card. with the right stuff you can just install directly to cfw no need to downgrade.

all you need to use pandoras is:

- a pandoras battery (datel tool battery)
- memory card 256mb ~ 2gb

and then just use a magic memory card maker to get the memory card set up and away you go

there is no need for a iso emulator they are very out dated custom firmware is the way to go. it allows you to use all the advantages of homebrew and includes a iso loader and many other useful things that arnt on the official firmware but it also includes all of the main features of official firmware such as the new psp store and the internet......

sorry but i am still a little confused because it looks like u r saying that all u need to do is to change it to custom firmware but do u need to downgrade it then.

(god i am stupid)

but can u also tell me where u can get the best custom firmware and GTA LCS?

just to confirm what i should do,

1. i downgrade 3.03 to 1.5 custom firmware using GTA LCS
2. then download the best custom firmware which i run on my psp and set data

can u also show me wot my psp directory should look like?

right you understand the downgrading correct but what im trying to say is that its not only way to get cfw on your psp

there is a method using sony's own way of unbricking psp's

its called pandoras battery i does involve buying a pandoras battery but i think that will likely be cheaper than doing the downgrader method

id advise reading that before choosing the method of getting cfw

i have downgraded psp's using gta and lummins and pandora and the safest way is the pandora 100%
