Have been ripping some of my old PSX games and creating eboots to play on my new toy :D, but have encountered a few issues.
So far, I have Tomb Raider 3 & Final Fantasy Tactics working fully, but when trying to load Tomb Raider Chronicles or Alundra 2, my psp just shuts down. I have tried both with different versions of popsloader, but getting nowhere.
Not only that, but I have encountered another issue, when loading Final Fantasy 9 (Disc 1 only or a multi disc version), the PS logo thing plays, the screen goes black and nothing loads, but the odd thing is the I can still press the home button and quit, reset blah blah.
Ok, I've reinstalled popsloader 3.80 to my psp, and now Alundra 2 is fully working, but Tomb Raider Chronicles is now doing the same thing that Final Fantasy 9 is doing, black screen but psp not locked up. I have dumped the iso images with imgburn and alcohol, but it has made no difference. Also have done Final Fantasy 8, but that's doing the same thing!!! These discs are perfect, not a scratch not them, they are original copies (I played on my PS1 system from backups). I've tried the backups too!
Can anyone tell me why these eboots are not loading? Seems odd that I should have these problems with only a few games, and when I got a perfect copy of Final Fantasy 7 working, first go!!!
Hey I was having simular problems with my FF 7 with 4.01 M33-2. Can you help me fix it. I read your thread and saw that you came up with a solution. I am having issues installing popsloader. Can you provide me with the information I need to get the games working? lol its so mind racking!
