O.k i've been reading up on all this crap and im getting cunfuzed lol =D, well I have installed the wiikey (don't know if it works though) **could you tell me how i can find out** I havn't done any of those updates of the 1.9b things but tryed but didn't read the dvd+RW disc. I have 3.3u FW right now I am able to play normal games (thanks god lol) but no burned ones. I have a LG external burner that I got from www.megaloot4u.com (under external and the last one on the page) I burned one game (mario kart wii) using 2.4x speed, then another time using 4x speed. and still get that unable to read when inserted. I've been trying to figure out if there is a way i need to turn the wiikey on lol that be funny its off lol. but yeah northing that I've burned will read all i get is that stupid unable to read. Would someone help me out there, i've been reading about a week or so now lol and still havn't figured it out, let me know if you need any more infomation about my wii and others to help me out. Thanks so much hope to meet and make new friends here.
P.S. i've checked the iso format and yes its .iso and its 4.37gb wii game so that couldn't be it =D
I will try getting dvd-r/dvd+R to see if that is what the problem is. I've been using nero to burn the games and i click recored>>then burn image and I start the burning i put it to 2.4x and 4x, but i will stick with 4x. I have also tryed burning it by clicking DVD (make a UDF/ISO dvd but i didn't work either. anyone know which way is the propper way of burning i beilve its the image though. can't remember if i read that or something but i think it is.

Once again, you are going against consensus opinion of what works most reliably.
There are people who vigorously defend the use Of Nero (and indeed I have it as well), but I use Imgburn exclusively for burning Wii backups. Why? BECAUSE I KNOW IT WORKS 100% of the time. Nero would probably work for me as well but why should I tamper with success.
o.k, i'll try imgburn, but i did try using a sonydvd+R disc and burn BW2 on it (looked and found that mario kart doesn't work on 3.3u) so i'll try burning it on imgburn and see what i find out thanks again~ hope its works this time :D
ok all, I have burned BW2 to a sonyDVD+R disc, with imgburn (i burned using 4x, 24x, and currenty burning 1x not done yet) but i still get the unable to read disc message. I noticed that once i poped in the game i could here it spinning and loading but then after about a few secounds it stops spinning so i know that the wii is not reading the disc. I am affraid that i will have to open my wii nad check out the wiikey again and might put some electal tape on it and see if that works if the 1x doesn't work or if one of you all say to go ahead and do this. But yeah could anyone help me out here? I've been researching alot and spent about $200 lol but well worth the money :D

oh and my wii can read oringal so i know i have a oringal wiikey not a clone i belive.
