Hi

I have a Wii that I got at launch, with a genuine Wiikey installed in December of last year. I've had no problems up untill today. Now whenever I insert a disc, instead of the normal: soft beep-->disc spinning-->soft beep, it now goes LOUD beep-->disc spinning-->5 LOUD beeps in succession. And now backups and originals don't load. Everything else is fine, the menu, homebrew channels, internet channel etc.

I'm thinking that maybe one of the solder legs of the Wiikey have come off, or something similar. I will have to go around tommorrow and try to find a Triwing screwdriver (I had the wiikey installed at an electronic place, so I don't have one) and open it up to see how the Wiikey is going.

Any hypotheses on the problem? I'm pretty sure the Wii itself is fine. I will post my findings when I open up the Wii.
