I just turned on my wii and it came up with message error 001 unauthorized device detected. I have played the game numerous times before without and problems the game is Indiana jones Lego and it is a wii key.

Did it just do it once or is it doing it every time? Because mine gives error 001 once every couple weeks or so. I just restart and its fine.

This is the first time. I am not sure but the firmware that i have might be 1.9b, should i update to 1.9s or see if this was a fluke?

If the firmware is 1.9b then you're gonna see the error every time you try to play a game newer than super mario galaxy. If you have 1.9g then you dont need to update to 1.9s to play any games besides smash bros.

Well I can play smash bros. without any problems so i guess it might just be a once in a while thing. Thanks for the advice
