Flashing Benq Sata card shows up in device manger as VIA Raid Controller 3249?

Ok so I just bought a used xbox 360 it has a benq drive in it. It has an extra heatsink and I put a talismoon fan in. I bought a VIA VT 6421L PCI SATA Card and now in my device manager it is showing up as VIA Raid controller 3249. Can I falsh my Benq with this sata card because it is VIA, but it is weird that it is showing up in Device manger with that name. Is there something I should do before I flash my drive. Any other advice on tips or things to remeber when flashing a Benq drive would be helpfull? One more less important question the guy I bought it from smokes alought is there a way I can get that smell out of the system and controllers?
