Okay so i need to make a bootable cd to flash my 360, i have a ms28 drive and the via chipset, i tried bootable usb but my usb drive isnt compatible. So anyways, i tried to download iprep and stuff to do ntfs4dos, but when i follow the "dummies" guide, i come up with the iprep to make a bootable drive, not the cd one. i follow the guide to the key, what am i doing wrong? Any help on where i get the write software?
Follow this guide instead Xeno360 http://robinhoodsplayground.com/forum/vi...34&t=1959://url hope this helps out if not let me know.I forgot to mention that when you create a partition if you use the ntfs2dos method it should be 30GB or less.If it is more than 30GB then it won't work its a flaw in the iPrep program.
I have samsung ms28, Im just looking for another method to flash my drive, i just bought the via chipset. i thought i could use my external usbHD but it wont "format" and make it bootable, what are my other options? Can i do it from a cd? I dont have a floppy drive availible.
It should be the same way for an MS25 or MS28 drive as a BenQ if your using iPrep.Just follow the guide and you should have it working, but instead of picking BenQ in the option select the Samsung option.I think the problem could be using an external harddrive, but honestly I'm not sure.I hooked a harddrive up internally using the IDE interface and it worked right away.
