how do i play wii homebrew. do i have to hack it in any way.

i forgot to say also, how do i play roms and emulators (dol) and is there anything i can do without modding or hacking my wii

Emulator disks can be made containing hundreds of roms, but they require a modchip to play.

Roms can also be played via emulators run through the homebrew channel. However the only way to install the homebrew channel on an unmodded wii is with the twilight hack.

If i have a modded wii. How will i install the homebrew channel ??? will it still be done through the zelda game

If you have firmware 3.3 then yes, homebrew channel must be installed through the twilight hack. If you have 3.2 or earlier then it can be installed with a hacked iso available on the homebrew channel website. Just burn it to a disk and run it like any game disk.
