Problem with Halo 3 online play...

We used to play Halo with other friends on our 360 through a wireless network. Now, just recently, we started having a problem with playing online, giving us an error: "Your settings may not be compatible with your online friends. You are currently on an Open NAT" or something like that.

What has happened, and what do I do to reverse it?

your friend needs to have an open nat connection, and make sure both of you are "port forwarding" do a search and you'll figure it out.
