hi there
so 2/3 weeks ago i saw this offer in bigpocket.com for these 4x dvd-r for £9.99 per 25 hey thats good ithought so i ordered some resived them tried 10 of them recorded no problem (i use pionier 106 1m old)
so i thought lets test the end product .my alba dvd player played all of them 1/2 to 2/3 then froze up my panasonic dvd recorder locked me out, i tried them in cyberhome dvd player, mustec, pacific,all either not recodnised them or froze half way i can't send them back as return policy of bigpocket does not inclode postage or used media any sugestion

Check the actual manufacturer of the discs by using DVD Info Pro.

Low quality media has a tendency to be very erratic in results. You may get some discs that burn fine then many others that don't.

Some good manufacturers to check out would be Ritek, Fuji, Taiyo Yuden (expensive but good) or Maxell.

Many people are tempted to buy the cheapest discs they can find, but when you factor in the amount of discs that have to be thrown away you're not really saving anything.
