Safe to update modded wii from 3.1 to 3.3?

I have a d2c wii modded with d2pro and 3.1e firmware on it.

Is it safe to upgrade my system firmware to 3.3e?
My d2pro is not the latest firmware version. Actel is 2.0 and SPI has been updated to v1.6 with the utility disc.

I have ordered a d2prog online and am waiting for delivery and will update the actel once i recieve it.

So should I use my internet connection to update my wii to 3.3e now?
Or should i wait for the d2prog programmer to arrive and update ACTEL before i perform system update?

You didn't look around for an answer at all.

No wii updates detect modchips. Any modchip firmware updates don't matter, it still stands that NO updates detect ANY modchip on ANY firmware.


That said there are some people who have had some issues with firmware 3.3. But that you can look for on your own.
