okay, i am just curious. do u guys think there will be a program later on in the future where you can unban xbox 360 lives console. do u think the program or method will be feasible in the future or it's no hope for xbox 360 ban lives consoles.

There is currently away to unban consoles right now but it a very difficult task to do and require a console number

actually it requires alot more than a console number, that actually has very little to do with what the process is. lets just put it this way. you have to know your stuff.

i dont think it's worth it. having one unbanned console making it to a banned console by giving away its console number. I dont see the point in it. hopefully in the near future, they will come out with a device to unban xbox 360 without using any other consoles.

What about all those dead 3 red ring consoles? Each one of them still has a perfectly valid serial number and if I am correct the machine you're getting the serial from doesnt need to work. Just a thought...

The console has to be in working condition in order to retrieve the console id.Its stored in the nand firmware which is why there hasn't been a solution for it in the longest time.The solution is outdated and doesn't work on newer motherboard revisions,plus you have to be at a certain kernel in order for it to work.

The only way you can downgrade is with the infectus modchip and the timing attack addon.You also need a certain motherboard revision and a certain kernel.If you go off the infectus site and read the tutorial you will see what I mean.The problem is the kernel has been patched by MS,and it only works for consoles that where made at launch pretty much.Its not only hardware that is the problem,but the kernel as well.

If I knew away around it I would let you guys know,but yeah I looked into this method awhile ago trying to figure out a way to retrieve the dvd key without using the actual dvd drive.As far as I know we gotta find a solution for the kernel,and with the update coming out that allows games to be run off the harddrive maybe something might happen that will allow us to run linux off the harddrive.If you got a banned console it would be a good idea to dump the nand firmware as soon as possible,just incase something comes out in the future that enables us to get the 1bl.bin and CPU key from it.Once you get those two files you can pretty much extract the nand firmware,and hack the hell out of the Xbox 360.I've heard from hackers if this can be accomplished it will open up the Xbox 360 to a bunch of possibilities such as XBMC like the Xbox 1 days.You know like running games off the harddrive and just a bunch of stuff that is awesome.

everything u say sounds pretty complicated lol. i just cross my fingers and hope it will come true.
