Yep, the eb games code is good for me and 2 people. They're doing the codes in waves, it looks like they're going in order of when they were received so it might be a few hours because eb games screwed up the shipping to Canada, I only got mine wednesday.
You'll have it as soon as I get it.

Wait a second do you share the code on the pre-order page thing or the code they email you? bla... I'll see if I can find out, if it was the code on the paper my bad for making you two wait.

No sorry ^.^' still waiting, but if it is the code on the pre-order then I do. If you could help me find out which one it is I'd appreciate it because the instructions dont say which.

Good news just got them, Gess and socomwife check your pm box for the code.

I think there may be UK servers afterall so you shouldnt have to worry about lag or trying to use a north american account, but if it dosent work u'd have to do that.

I am a HUGE COD4 fan and loved Socom. Was thinking about picking it up. Anyone know if you can lock out certain weapons like in the Past?
I hate grenade spam in COD4 and makes me want to quit sometimes.

Yes, you can lock out weapons.
The waves of emails have been slow for some people. I know people that still do not have a beta code.

They apparently sent them in order of when they received our codes. Also they are likely making the gap between the waves larger and the number in the waves smaller because as always the devs "underestimated the popularity" of the game so their servers are screwed. I'm so tired of hearing that line for every single online game.

I wouldn't say I am a diehard Socom fan, but I loved S3 and S:CA... atleast until all the cheating started. I would preorder it myself for the beta, but honestly, I simply do not have the money to do so right now. But I will be getting the game in October, even if I didn't get to play beta. So if anybody is willing to pass on a code, it would be greatly appreciated. If not, it's understandable. Thank you in advance for at least reading this.
