Hi, i just bought a new 360, appears to have the philips drive. benq, lite-on or whatever. Manufacture date is march 2008.
anyways i have the drive from my old system flashed already, can i swap the flashed drive in? then when i wanna play xbox live games reswap it again? thanks.
No you can't do that.
Dvd drives are signed to the motherboard with a key.
You can spoof drives by using the key from the old dvd drive in the new one.
If you want to play backups on your new benq you should flash it and not worrying about swapping drives.
Dammit, well i bought the 360. and i was going to mod it and use heat on the sticker and pull the seal off, appearantly i got the faceplate off and the seal is already torn, (This system was used) ugh dont people check thier damn systems before buying and reselling. xD.
Well, im gonna go get another one, anyways. Can anyone tell me if xbox live detects modded systems? If my box gets banned from having it flashed, is thier a way to get-unbanned? :P. Thanks.
I think i read somewhere ixtreme1.4 is undetectable so far. Is this true?
