I have the WiiClip v4C/D2Pro9 on a D2C Wii. It worked fine and then I started experiencing the inching/eject issues. I downloaded the v1.6 Utility Disc from the d2pro site and the inching/eject issues went away.

Now, the Wii ejects all discs - both originals and backups. The disc goes in and gets ejected out. These discs are all good and used to work in the past. Please help. TIA

Troubleshoot it @_@

Take the clip off.
Turn the wii on and try it.

Takes discs -> Chip or chip firmware is the problem.
Doesn't take dics -> Yo' Wii is jacked up, son!

Idk about chip/wii specifics past that, so perhaps repost what happens and someone else can help you.

Removed Wii Clip. No luck. It ejects the disc once, automatically takes it in again and then spits it all the way out.

Time for warranty service?

You have d2c2 chipset?

Nintendo will probably replace your drive with the newest chipset even if it's not broken. My friend lost his DMS that way.

The fixed unit is supposed to be on it's way back. How would I go about identifying what chipset it now has inside? Do I need to re-open it? Any links to visually/otherwise identifying the different chipsets? Thanks.
