Pandora Battery Problem

ok so i hard modded my slim psp battery to make it into a pandoras battery. i installed 3.71 m33 on my psp with it and a magic memory card. then i updated to 4.01 m33 and the battery no longer works the psp runs fine of the power cord but if i put the battery in the psp will shut off and if i try and turn the psp on with the battery nothing happens. any ideas?

p.s. i know that a pandoras battery wont power my psp but it should still be putting it in service mode and its not

yeah i will have to but i just wont understand how a battery will just stop working like that after an update

in what way did you hard mod?
Did you open up the battery?

yes i opened up the battery to mod it but once it was modded i taped it all back up . the battery worked fine till i updated from 3.71 m33 to 4.01 m33

just fixed it i just connected to wires to the power of the battery and shorted it out for a second and now the battery works fine
