i am about to take on the whole battle of making a music video for my band i have good knowledge of computers and program use
but have no idea on which software to go with for editing.
i've tried ulead and like it but it has bad reviews i look into vegas4 but not wanting to pay $500 to get something i wouldn't like
i need to do on screen editing..being able to edit each frame if needed and the rest is just real-time editing help help help please.

I'd give Ulead Video Studio another look before dismissing it solely because of bad reviews. Download the trial version and decide for yourself if it has what you're looking for. Another option would be Pinnacle Studio.
