What exciting dash goodness? Check the list below:

* Holy beautiful transitions! This latest Fall update build included never before seen transition effects including nifty fades, smooth sweeps and (our personal favorite) the guide pop up animation. We can't explain the transition effects, but trust that their addition definitely enhances the overall dashboard experience. Yum!
* Dashboard themes will now instantly load a preview when hovered over. And, as an added bonus, the preview loading effect is sexy as hell.
* While in a party, each person's gamer picture is placed on the top right hand side of the dashboard. When alone and party-less, only your gamer picture and gamercard are displayed.
* Your overly Wii-like Avatar's comic-style text balloon displays your gamercard's motto.
* EVERY Xbox 360 game's Xbox.com information (including game description, features and screenshots) is pulled into the dashboard while browsing the Xbox Live Marketplace.

this is either going to make the dashboard a lot better or a lot worse. not sure if im going to like the transitions because to me it seems like it would slow them down, and i would sacrifice 'beauty' for speed. on the other hand, the gamer pics in the parties sounds pretty sweet.

Who cares about transitions. MS needs to give us more pratical features like more added support for video files like being able to play .xvid or .vob files over media center extender would be nice. If they added that and with the new price drops, I would consider buying a 360 for each room.

personally i bought the system for "gaming" so I would rather have the options they decided upon rather than different media playback, most dvd players do that now, besides they already have several wireless streaming media boxes for the tv. thats just my opinion though.

The only feature I care about is being able to run my games off the harddrive.I think that is a big issue with the Xbox 360 considering the size of games are going to get bigger(HD content is going to be a problem in the future),and nobody really likes using multiple discs.They might end up using a compression technique to squeeze the games on discs in the future,but that will make the quality suffer.I know there are a majority of games that can fit on a Dvd-9,but they should be looking for a solution for HD videos for games as its cutting into gameplay.From my point of view there are two things they can do which are use the harddrive or use multiple discs.The way the dash looks I can adjust to it,but they need to focus on realistic advancements more than looks in my honest opinion.I think using Dvd is not the best solution for HD content,and considering how many people are starting to invest in High Def TV sets it won't be long until disc space is going to be an issue.

Got some updated info for you guys and a pic enjoy :D

[QUOTE]Check out the screen shot up there. The team has created a mock account for Major Nelson (Yes, we know the Gamerscores don?t match up on his account but that is because we created this screen shot on a build that is still being worked on).

The first card shows all of the Achievements you?ve unlocked and lists out your overall Gamerscore and the highest possible Gamerscore you could have based on the games you?ve played. To the right of that every game you?ve played will have its own card that fans out. If you?ve played 3 games (like this account has), you will have 3 cards. 500 games? All 500 will fan out on your screen. You can check out what Achievements you?ve unlocked per game and what you have left to work on.
