has anyone found a cure for the 360 problem of no display when 360 starts up, ive had my 360 for 2 years now and the display suddenly stopped, the 360 boots up ok but no display, microsoft wont cover it in this state but will repair it for £75, even tho theres a lot on the forums of this problem, but if it goes to rrod they will replace it free of charge anybody know of a cure or how 2 rrod it
i dont know of a cure, but you could deffiantly try to get the ring of death. if it was me i would just wrap it in towles until it overheated and shut itself off, and then let it cool down for roughly 30 min, and just keep repeating the process until it stresses itself out to the point of the red ring. but thats just my opinion.
I've experienced this on a friend's 360 when we were flashing his drive. To my knowledge, this is a fail-safe for the 360. I say this because the no display problem only happened after I unplugged the drive from my computer without first turning off my computer. In other words, even though the 360 was off when I unplugged it, my computer was still on and the 360's drive was being considered a computer drive. So I just booted up my computer and 360 again, turned off the 360, then turned off the computer, then unplugged the drive. Most of this is probably irrelevant to you if you haven't tried to flash your drive's firmware, but I just wanted to be thorough.
