I've literally been trying for MONTHS now to update my psp, it simply refuses to go past 3.11.
I've tried many downloads from 3.3 all the way up to 4.05, EBOOT's and using UMD's from my friends. All result in the following message:
The system configuration of this PSP system does not appear to be correct. The update cannot be completed. Contact technical support for assistance. (DRNFFFFFFCD)
Getting desparate enough to just simply buy a new one. But before I destroy this one, can anyone help me fix my piece of crap PSP?

Ok, just finished trying both, it says it couldn't start the game after I tried to start the pandora's firm installer for the second one, and I'm too poor to try the first one.

you can either hardmod your battery into pandora's battery, or you can buy the datel TOOL battery (online only).
ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure
got a whole lot more to list . . .

dont hardmod the battery you will likely just break it !!
purchase datel battery or service mode tool its much safer and much cheaper in the end when you don't have to fork over $40 for a new battery since you broke it doing a hardmod.

do you have a phat of slim psp? do you live in the u.s.?
because if you have a phat psp you could send it to me and I could make it in to a pandora battery for you just pay shiping both ways. if you live in the u.s. I it would be cheaper.
