Go into recovery/config/change it to Sony NP9660 from there. Make sure it says -NO UMD. Or if you want to quickly find out, put a umd in and start FF7CC with a UMD in. If it works, it's cause the setting is UMD required.

I have the UMD ISO Mode set to 'M33 Driver' but i think that's a completely seperate thing which only affects the game after its loaded... not for whether its displayed in the game list.
anyways the only tip I have for your is to try renaming the ISO filename. i have had trouble with them being too long and not showing up on the game list at all. try renaming it to something very very short with ".ISO" on the end. like "game.iso"
if that works let me know i'd like to know if it works for anybody else.

Thanks for responding so quickly.
I went to recovery mode, tried Both "SONY NP9660" and "m33 Driver"
I was aware of renaming the iso to something short. It's named FF7CC.iso.
Still Nothing
I don't have any other UMD's Lying around.
I could borrow one from that friend of mine, she is out of state and wont be back anytime soon. (few weeks)
Do I NEED to have a UMD in my psp?
Is it possible to play iso's without a UMD in my psp?
Thanks,

go into recovery and check to see if umd required is set, if it is change it to NO-UMD
Could also be a bad rip, corrupt.

Ok,
UMD Mode (currently: SONY NP9660 -NO UMD-)
still nothing
When my friend ripped it, she put it on here psp successfully. I called her up and she said is was still working. I would ask her how to do this, all she did was copy it to iso and it worked.
so im sure its not a bad rip
I got another FF7CC.iso from another (reliable) source, just in case.
What next?

both are disabled
and its set to 4.XX

Thanks for the quick posts, by the way.
Quick thought, do i need like a psp emulator or something? Any Programs to help run the iso?
Will iso's be more likely to work with a different version?
What next?

rename the file without the .iso
if your computer recognizes it already as an iso file there's no need to add the extendtion

I'm Dumbfounded!!!
Have you tried reformating the mem stick and re-installing the game.
If that don't work, just goto gamestorrents.com and download another copy. Choose the CC uploaded by gamestorrents.
Good Luck.

This was happening to me also but I got it to work. I had my ISO folder inside my PSP folder instead of the root folder. Double check your folder placement
