wth? i can't choose 480p/1080p?

ok i have lg 42'' lcd tv.. it's 1080p.
but when i go to wii settings, i can only choose 480i...
480p/1080p is grayed out.
what am i doing wrong?

The Wii does not support HD- only Enhanced Definition which is 480p.

You will need component cables to display 480p.

so the cable that comes with wii is not component? what is it then?

The cable that came with your Wii is Composite video which can only do 480i. If you want to do 480p ten you will need to buy a Component cable.
