Hey, had a search and could only find what a shoddy item I have bought.

Basically I have DMS (or possibly D2B) Wii and thought a clip would be the quickest install. Took the Wii apart and went to place it on DMS settings (Something I dnt entirely understand, do I need to solder M to the VCC?) and got a red light and a disabled drive. I Set it to D2B and I get the blue light and a disabled Wii drive. Unclip it the drive works straight away.

Any ideas?

If anyone finds a solution to this I would love to hear it! I have EXACTLY the same problem. A DMS wii + D2SUN 2.02 + Wii Clip and I get a red light - If I change the settings to the D2B then I get a Blue light, but still a non functioning disk drive.

Please help!

Regards
Dave

Do you understand what it means about DMS settings? I understand the switch malarky but to set it to DMS the instructions just point to an M and VCC on the Chip

No, I dont fully understand the "Short M + VCC" message. The version 2.01 shows the position of ON - OFF - OFF - OFF for the K switches so I have set those but unser what to do about the "Short M + VCC"!

"Plug and Play in 2 mins" my arse!

Right, found out you do have to solder a wire to connect the 2 points

Hi mate - have you got yours working yet?

I sent it back to get soldered - they were as useful as ever and sent a new d2sun and HADNT soldered the M + VCC but so I guess I gotta do it myself - have you got yours sorted?

Thanks and regards.
