Any new system in the first year or so has its share of operating issues. I decided to wait until all the bugs and problems were at a minimun. I am an Xbox fan but I keep hearing and reading about is overheating and RROD. I have experienced it myself recently. i purchased the Premium 360 in August of Last year and by April of this year it happened (the RROD)I have seen blogs and other info that say that console manufactured after September 2007 have less issues? I am considering buying another console but I dont know, the 360 just seems to have the nagging issue of breaking. what so you guys think?

well yeah MS reduced the % of failing xboxes but not entirely if you want to buy a 360 take care of it and make sure it has plenty of space because if you put it in a small place then it overheats and problems will appear(RROD) and if you want to mod your 360 NOW isn't the best time since lite-on drives have been implemented in most of the 360's(just my opinion).With the lite-on drives is a little difficult if you dont' know what you are doing they can be flashed but not by anybody....here's the link on how to http://www.devilsps3.centelia.net/liteon/

I swear it really sucks, I was planning to get it this weekend, but I cant get a console unless I can have it chipped :(
I'll stuck to my PS2 and WII for the time being :)
