hi,

i've got a wii with d2c2 chip. i've installed new d2pro9 v3 and it works ok now. but mario kart and ssbb doesnt work. only disc channel than a black screen. i've updeted wii via internet but still same. same disc work on different consoles with wiikey and d2ckey. disc should be ok cuz they are verbatims and tried couple of them. and iso's are untouched scene releases. i've tried over 20 games they work ok. only ssbb and mario kart(SMG works). can anyone please help. i've no idea.

btw chip has hw v2.2 on it. i tought i should update it to latest 2.3 but my seller(360mods) said its not about firmware. is there anyone can play ssbb or mario kart with d2pro v3 hw v2.2 or its only me?

What firmware is your Wii system?

Are you sure the games have not been trucha signed patched?

fw is 3.3e. yes i'm pretty sure images are ok. right size, right double layer breake, used imgburn etc. they work on other wii's anyway. i've been burning them for along time.

If any trucha signed applications was used on the images then they would be effected by the 3.3E firmware.

I would try loading them via Gecko OS. If they boot then it has been trucha signed.

thanks mate. i've installed hbc and loaded discs via geckoOS. they worked ok. but other wii with wiikey loaded it without geckoOS. it has 3.3e too. so is that means old wiikey is better than new d2pro9 v3. peh, what a mess. why cant d2pro run these trucha signed discs. is it only me or its general problem with d2pro.

you sure it has 3.3E?

Are the games out of region? If so maybe the region free setup on the D2Pro9 isn't working properly.

Try loading up an original first, wait till the game icon shows up in the wii menu, eject the original game. then insert the back game. The D2pro9 is region blocked at first, so to unlock the region you must do this otherwise you will end up with a black screen when you start the game.
