I have MKV files, that play on my PS3 but with no sound, only chipped/clipped bits.

I have read and read and I am stuck. I am trying to move one of my dvd sets (Cowboy Bebop: The Perfect Sessions) to my PS3. I read about tsMuxer and MKV2VOB and I cannot get either program to work for me.

Tsmuxer simply states "Some tracks not recoged. This track ignored."

Mkv2vob says: "could not parse mkv file"

Can anyone share some insight? I gather that I'm supposed to be separating the audio and video, but I can't even get past step 1.

If you've got the DVD boxset, you can just rip the original .vob files and go on from there. I don't understand why you're changing them to .mkv first.

I don't know why, but mine dvd seems to have them all the episodes in one 4-5 hour track. Let me try that part again.

Yes, the episodes are all in one huge .vob file. And my DVD ripping software just lumps them all into one 3:40:00 something set.

Am I skipping a step or at error in some way?
