Spoofing an ms28 to think its a hitachi 47

Hi everyone.

I have a dead hitachi 47 drive and have ordered a samsung ms28 to replace it.

Before i proceed i just wanted some advice and wondered if any of you nice people could answer some questions for me....


1.using firmware toolbox 4.8 first i have to open a firmware file..
i have these in front of me..
47-16-8x
key
now
was

do i choose now or was as firmware to spoof to?

2.
I had succesfully flashed the drive in the past with maximus 1.4 firmware, if i choose "now" as a firmware will the samsung ms28 still need flashing in the normal way of flashing ms28( iprep ten second trick) ?
or will it the samsung be running the hacked firmware?

3.
do i now go to tools>spoof firmware >and then select samsung ms28?

or do i select hitachi 047? ( im trying to make samsung think its hitachi)
4 what do i do next? i have flashed an ms 28 drive before with iprep and a usb stick, do i need to follow same proceedure?

Thanks in advance to anyone who is kind enough to try and help me.
I have read through previous posts but still feel confused and dont want to mess up...
