I Just purchased a modded xbox 360BenQ drive, and the seller said all I need to install was the Xbox360 Backup Creator v2.7... I haven't downloaded the software to rip games the seller sent me. Will microsoft ban my console?
He said I shouldn't worry about playing online as it still allows me to.
I was recently thinking about installing the Xbox360 Backup Creator v2.7.rar to my xbox to be play burned games, and almost jumped into doing it, but heard you can be banned from xbox live....
2. can microsoft know if you have a flashed xbox 360 and if you are playing burned games? how?
3. is there any way to avoid it?
4. Will the Mod I have cause me to be banned from playing this system online?

you dont put XBC on your xbox, it gets installed on your computer. and if the seller is sending your games, more than likely they are already burnt ones, so you dont need the software anyways, just put the games into your xbox and play them. and without buying the proper samsung drive for your computer, XBC is useless for you anyways.
and yes there is a chance that you will get banned from live. its to late to do anything now anyways, so just enjoy live for the time being. and once MS does ban you expect phone calls and visits from the FBI, CIA and other federal law enforcement personnel so they can find out where and who you bought the console from so they can arrest and fry him. jk. but do expect to get banned.
dang dude, not to be rude, but please search for your answers first; they all have been asked and answered a million times on here. but to answer it, as long as you play ANY BURNT GAMES ONLINE OR OFFLINE YOU RUN THE RISK OF BEING BANNED. its as easy as that. the only way not to get banned is to NEVER play any burnt games.
