Hi there, i've been searching around for like an hour now and i can't seem to find the newest kreon firmware for my 163C, anybody have a link or can pm me? Thanks

So i've been having all kinds of weird drive problems. So i pulled it out to take a look at it and it turns out it's the 163A drive. I found the newest firmware with the fix needed to do the upgrade and sfdnwin tells me that i have the wrong drive. So i downloaded every single kreon firmware just to see if something would come up and none of them work... i'm lost.

first off,calm down and find yourself.
then go to ebay and look for one of these drives.

SH-D162C (IDE)
*TS-H352C (IDE)
SH-D163A (SATA)
*TS-H353A (SATA) ......copied from textbooks guide.
SH-D162D (IDE)
*TS-H352D (IDE)
SH-D163B (SATA)
*TS-H353B (SATA)

you can, if you want, purchase the drive pre flashed.

what are you talking about? Did i threaten to murder someone or something? lol

And why would i go buy a drive i already have?

Anyways, as stated I've got the 163A and i can't seem to flash it. I think the firmware is somehow currupt :-(

re download the firmware, try ezbins and get it from irc.
