Has any one been banned for having fans and leds modded on their 360

if you do the 12v mod, you can get banned.
if you get talismoon fans, and just swap them, you should be safe.

It is believed that modifying the voltage in any way shape or form will cause the 360 to report back to M$ that tampering is going on.

I find it very weird cause I have bought a 360 with the fans already clear case and clear hard drive case, well it had the rrod they had the case installed and fans too they didnt do it. Well he said he has been on live for a little over a year. I fixed the rrod and it works great, so far. I have also read it is thought that people hook up the fans then turn it on without plugging in the 360 dvd drive and that is why they are banned. I did this all today so that is why I have these so called answers. Well needless to say before I hook up to live, if it gets banned they just ban the mac address correct? or do they ban your live account and your box too? I am just curious cause my live is prepaid for 2 years I dont want to take chances.

they ban the whole system.
you still have your account, but the system can't go on LIVE anymore. you'd have to get a new system.

Thanks man I apreciate that info,I will try it sometime, I just wont use turbo and go from there, any way if it get banned it will still be fun to link when friends are over. I have a halo3 version that will not ever get opened so that is my live system any way. I am just fiddling with broken systems and seeing what I can do with them, as of right now I have 4 broken xbox 360s and 1 elite and 2 60 gig ps3s, I am waiting on some parts and 1 last hdmi 360 and then let the games begin lol. Thankyou for your quick replies.

I thaught the Talismoon fans were 12v?
The banning is drawing MORE power away like splicing an extra line off the mobo or adding that internal fan behind the pwr button(xbmc i thknk the name is), . Ive had the same blue talismoon forever on my samy, and my new elite has the same one with the new connector on it.
I know adding that speed controller is not good as it changes voltage as you increase / decrease speeds.
