I attempted to install a mod chip yesterday, I screwed up my disc drive, wii is only 3 weeks old. I don't think nintendo will repair it, mod chip never made it in. Any suggestions????? I live in FL, I want to replace/repair the drive, please help.
Your drive sounds like it has an alignment problem. It can be fixed, but you need to know where all the tension springs go. If you have a friend that has a WII ask to borrow it and remove the drive. Take off the drive cover carefully and look underneith. Compare that drive to yours and you should be able to see what came undone.
