PS2 games and most dvd movies have silver bottoms. My ps2 can't read the colored bottom media. I was wondering if there were any dvd-r that is silver bottomed.

Factory DVDs are pressed and use a metallic rflective layer which is why they are silver or gold. Burnable DVDs use a dye in order to be burned which is why they have the purple color. I don't have a Playstation so I don't know why yours won't read burned media.
