Sounds like your still using the Pandora Battery.

After you install custom firmware you will need to convert the Battery back to normal or use an extra normal battery.

The only other way is to install boosters boot code to the MS so it can boot the Pandora Battery as normal.

How did you convert it to a Pandora battery?

Did you hardmod it or use homebrew?

Really don't know what happened. Try to install other firmwares like 3.90 m33, 4.01 m33... Oh and btw if you have hardmoded your battery, and you have cut out the line in the battery- I don't know how, but you need to link , and repair that line back...

Not if used the TM-IPL he can remain in pandora as long as that IPL remains on his MS.

I would suggest getting a card reader and installing the TM-ipl. That way pandora or not the PSP should work.

Hit the link in my sig, for the UPT installer which will install teh TM-IPL for you.

The IPL is the intial Program loader, this program allows a program to start. Couple this with a pandora which allows the PSP to boot to service mode it is possible to boot to a pandora menu. The add benefit of the TM-ipl is A) it can boot to mutiple programs and B)allows you to boot to the XMB.

If you insert a Pandora Battery into a PSP without a MMS or a valid IPL and all you will get is a green light meaning for you that you cannot write files to the PSP with the PSP. In order to get the IPL onto your MS you will need a Card reader or another PSP.

As you have just 1xBattery (currently in Pandora And hardmodded) and 1 x MS.

So you can either trace the line back where you removed it to Hard mod your battery or you can install the TM-IPL to allow the battery to remain in pandora and boot to the XMB in order to use the PSP as Normal.

I would respectfully suggest you do some research on this.

Read his last post a little closer.

He has a tool battery and a normal battery. He also tried booting PSP up with just the AC adapter.

Do you have a card reader in your PC or another PSP that works so you can redo the Magic memory Card?

If so follow this guide HERE and recreate the card and reinstall the custom firmware.

Ouch!!! I`ve downloaded the UPTv5 and copy the file into GAME folder but the MS is still on MagicMem... Didnt reformat it on PC... And, I started to insert my Pandora Bat and Magic Mem(with the UPTv5 on it) again and install 3.80M33... (Successfully installed) BUT PSPslim TA-85
still on black screen... Sigh... So maybe i was wrong i tried to change the bat to normal and I try to power on but still a LED light and a black screen... Is it my NAND file or IPL thing needs to manually copy them into my MS??? because the 1st time I install the CFW the battery fell off while its on the process of installing... and the 2nd time, flash1... freezes... so i try to reformat my flash1 using the []button.. then, ive successfully installed 3.80CFW and until now its still on the black screen...

arrggg... what`s supposed to be the problem with this slim? after screwing my 1st installation(battery fell down, installation interrupted/corrupted)...

Does the PSP FAT that you used to create the Magic Memory Stick have a custom theme? If so revert back to original theme and try again. I have seen users have issue when using a PSP that had a custom theme on it. Somehow it didn't create the Magic Memory Stick properly.

does my psp still have a chance of fixing it??? ive tried many times formatting/creating magic mem... im kinda confuse about the maker... it says: WARNING: Attempting to rename the file.... and at the end of the paragraph says cannot rename or create but on the right side posts `OK`... and after finishing installing tried to insert again my mem and now my psp is not reading the MS... until now im still redoing the magic mem...

ive done creating magic mem(found the problem on it).... maybe ive deleted the NAND on my PSP FAT(that`s why it`s always on a black screen after successfully installing CFW).... can i copy the NAND on the other psp? i have PSP SLIM/FAT 4.xx M33 CFW... How can I copy and run? Am I correct bout this NAND?

No you can not use a NAND from another PSP.

I doubt it has anything to do with the NAND.

As stated above find someone else near you or send it to someone that can help you get it done.
