i received a game from a friend for my modded 360 and he notified me it was PAL, if i use this in north america, on xbox live is there any chance of banning? or if it runs on my 360 am i good to go?

it wont run period, because you have an NTSC system. google NTSC vs PAL and read about the differences, its something you should know as it isnt just for xbox 360 games.

you didnt say that part. lol. if it is region free, then the title says it all, its region free, aka. can be used on anything. but you should still look up what i said earlier if you havnt, just to be informed.
