So uh yesterday i picked up my friends psp, and since he didn't use it i've decided to update and such, since he hasn't used it in a long time i had to recharge the battery, then upgrade from 3.52 m33-4 to 4.01 m33-2.
So heres the problem i recharged it and tried out the game from that was on his psp, and i went to game section and the UMD didn't show up so maybe i thought the disk was broken or something. then i tried my nhl 07 on it, and it did nto show up. Then i updated to 4.01 then tried it again but it did not show up, so i went to recovery mode and copy the info on my psp to it, and went back and still the UMD didn't show up. So i turned off require UMD, tried a game from my memory stick(madden 09) and it worked fine but when i tried it w/ Require UMD it loaded the psp game scene after that it didn't load anything and it shut itself off.
Another problem is that the first time i opened it, it took awhile for it to load and after awhile i open the UMD slot and it loaded quiet fast.
PS: its the FAT PSP
Help is greatly apreciated.
If its not clear enough just post and i'll try to explain it better
Another note, i've posted on a diff forum and they said i bricked it, but when i first got it and opened it it just showed the blue screen so i like waited like 1min and i clicked the home button and it poped out the m33 menu and i followed hakos menu from his section. and i hit exit, nothing happened so i poped the umd out and it loaded everything. Then i push UMD back in and went to game section and i dont see the UMD nor the psp updater;;
