Hey, first let me apologize if this has been discussed before.
Ok, So I bought a Wii in June of 2007 and got it modded with a Wiikey from a professional. I know the Wiikey is geniune its not a clone.
Ok so I played the Wii and mostly every game from launch up till Mario Kart Wii was fine. Then I stopped playing for a month and then when Mario Kart came out I played again and then I stopped again for a month. Now when I tried playing again after 30-40 minutes, my Wii would always shutdown automatically. Like shutdown shut off, with out leaving the red light on. I would have to unplug the AC from the Wii and then plug it back in to see the red light. Then when I would try playing it again right away, it would shutdown in 5 minutes. I had to let it sit for a few hours before I can play another 40 minutes.
I was taking finals so I didn't bother trying to figure out what happened. Then I started playing older games and the same would happen, like Galaxy would also shutdown, when 7 months ago it was fine.
Now I got Force Unleashed and I really want to play it, and while playing, after 38 minutes, it shut down.
What could be wrong? My wiikey is updated till the latest firmware and my wii is 3.1U.
I hope I don't have to buy another wii, can some one give me some suggestions?
