Im currently trying to burn my kids games ,since they are scratched so badly ,that they dont even work on his machine ,I bought 6 original games again,due to old ones been unplayable.can my moded machine play back ups .
Next question is ,can it play ixtream or they have to xtream .
thank you in advance for your help and if Im asking question that are again this forum please feel free to correct,since Im a newbie,and my head is kind of fat from reading so much in order to
make some backups.

if your xbox 360 is modded you can burn backups if you have the right dvd burner what dvd burner on your pc do you have if you dont mind me askin ?

I have a benq and a liteon on my pc,then benq is dw 1625 and the liton is sohw-1633s,I have a ixtream that some how i burnt and it worked ,but I dont remember what I did to get it to work,so I asked my friend who told me that ixtream will not work in my 360?since I have an NME 1.1 ,I wanted to make sure what other hard ware I need to back up the originals,at over 60 buck a game with my kids it becoming expensive.

theres diff kind of drives you can get theres samsung toshiba and a few others first you need to get a dvd dl drive like this Samsung SH-D162C and then you can use imgburn 2.4.2.0 just type imgburn in google you should be able to figure it out from there on but if you need help just ask :)

sh-163b,work,cause I can get this here through my friend.Also I do have the IMGBURN PROGRAM,and the clone cd ,like they ask in some thread,and got also the nmeassociater,that I read in some forum is requiered to get the game to boot the disk ,the 360 xbox my kids have is and have the sumsung drive.

yeah they should work anything with keron firmware should work but to double check check out the other fourms 2 :)

trossy998,than you for the quick reply,what about the ixtream or has to be xtream to burn??,sorry if I might get you in trouble here at the forum,is not my intention ,I just want to cover the bases for starting to do the kids game backups.IF you have some pointers will love to here them,since I have lots of material that I downloaded on the hows ,but this technology is new to me,lol.

i think its ixtreme but im not too sure you can ask around but are you planning to mod it yourself or did you say you have it modded ?

trossy998,no I got it modded a month ago and it has the NME 1.1 ,the person that modded it said it was a very good modchip,that it proved to be the best forthe sumsung drive in the 360 box.
