i tried to yse D2Pro (9 Wire Version) Solderless it didut work
my wii is

Wii Country of Origin UK
Wii Copyright Year 2006
Wii Drive Chip D2C V1 or V2
pins not cut on the drive chip
Wii missing Wiikey solder pad #3?

i am gowing to try the D2CPro Solderless (21 Wires)
i will last u no if it works

You need to know if it is a D2C or D2C2 drive.

If it is a D2C2 drive then the original D2Pro9 and D2CPro will not be compatible.

You will need to get a D2Pro9 version 2 that is D2C2 compliant.

Usually it will say it on the backside of the D2Pro. If it isn't certified D2C2 then you probably have the original D2Pro9.

To verify weather you have a normal D2C drive or D2C2 drive follow the images below...

The first 2 images are 2 cases of D2C2 drives. If the board ID# has AMX in it or it has 2 letters under the board ID# then you have a D2C2 drive.







There is an extra piece of metal on the drive spindle for D2C2 drives.

Do you have a D2C or D2C2?

Look at the images above. If any have the above on your Wii drive then you have a D2C2.

If it is a D2C2 then no the D2CPro will not be compatible.

Ask the company you ordered the Modchip from to exchange it for a compatible D2Pro9 version 2.

ok im back and good news wii chip working but i did not use the d2pro 9 wire because its not completely solderless it needs 1 wire soldering and clk point desoldering so i got d2sun v3 and is 100% solderless
works great
