Ok, I have done alot of reading here ont the forums about this topic. From what I have gathered, Im assuming (plz plz correct me if im wrong) I need to buy some kind of Samsung or Kreon Drive in order to phyiscally RIP the game. A normal DL Drive wont create a proper iso.

The modfitters website appears to be gonzo. Just wondering where I can buy one of these drives for my pc if that is whats needed.

Also, I'm under the impression I can just use my LG DL+RW Drive to burn the ISO I have created onto a vertbatim dl disc.
I haven't even flashed the drive in the 360 yet, im just trying to get all the info first, then I'll start buying whatever is nessasary.

Cheers.

You need the Samy drive to RIP the game to the computer. Then any DL Burner will work. Then use Verbatum DVD+R DL. Dont go cheap and use Memorex. I hear they sux and you will just gat a bunch of costers. Flash you Xbox 360 w/the new ixtreme firmware, incert the backup and there you go your playing backups on a flashed Xbox and since you RIPPED from an origional they are already STEALTH PATCHED witch will let you play online, but remember its always @ YOUR OWN RISK.

Hopes thisd helps.

I don't mean to hijack here, but are you saying all original ripped (unmodified) iso's are stealth patched? I thought the stealth patch was something you had to apply.

To element29, did you try the other suggestions on how to flash that drive in Textbook's PDF?

I found the software way to mod it this morning. FINALLY! It all went as planned and said sucessful all the way through. Anyone know of any methods i could use to ensure it is properly flashed before my Samsung dvdrom gets here.

The only way that I would guess is to download a game and burn it if you cannot rip one yourself, then see if it plays. I am assuming you already have a DL burner and disc?

lol, I actually have a download cap on my internet so downloading a game is out of the question, and I have a DL burner, but I dont have any DL discs at this time. I am currently awaiting a call from an electronics store that just hired me. I'm going to buy the DL Discs there with my employee discount ;) hehehe. Just wondered if I coudl burn a regular xbox game on a regular dvd or something.
