Xbox Freezing months after X-Clamp Fix

Hey guys, I did the X-Clamp fix about 2-3 months ago, and it was a savior. But just yesterday, it started freezing constantly, and got the RRoD again. I don't know why it would get it again. I followed Lawdawg
s(or whatever) method, with the nylon and metal washers, replacing x-clamps with screws, cleaning the GPU chip, and placing Arctic Silver Thermal Compound between the GPU and the Heatsink. Do you think the Arctic Silver just kind of dried out, and needs to be put back on? I need urgent help, as I need my 360 back before CoD4 playoffs.

i would tryt taking the thermal off THROUGHLY and putting on some new yes, and tighten those screws up a bit.

Ok, well I just re-did the last half of the lawdog step. cleaned it, re-pasted the thermal compound, overheated it. Now let's see.

Well, 2 hours after the fix, it started freezing again. Time to see how much money I can get off of this piece of junk to buy an arcade.

I had the same problem. This is what I did. And it completely works for me.

I use the Towel trick. Cover the x-box with a towel, overheat it. Then stick it in the fridge. Wait a hour. Then I easily get 1-2 months worth of gaming.

It works for me.

I've done that already, I'm pretty sure if I do it again my motherboard will turn into a liquid.
