hi
im totally new to all this i bought my hubby another xbox 360 (previously had rrod 4 times in a month !) and i bought it off ebay and was told it had the "iextreme firmware"
is there anyway to know if it does play copy games ?
i downloaded a game but have no clue how to burn it , i downloaded the xbox back up creator , but again dont know how to do it
i have nero 6 installed
the downloaded the game and its in rar files
please please can someone help me im tired of hubby breathing down my neck lol
thanks in advance as i do appreciate the time u give to help others
download a program called winrar, and then double click on one of the files within the xbox 360 game files, it will open up in winrar. there should be 2 files, a .dvd and a .iso, drag both files onto your desktop or into a new folder somewhere on your computer. then download image burn. and open it up, select the .dvd file and burn the games onto a dual layer disc. preferably a verbatium at either 2.4 or 4x speed. put into 360 and see if it plays.
thanks for your quick replies
i have got winrar and i double clicked on it , it unrared to another rar file it said the rar file is 7.2gig but i unrar that file and it came out into 2 folders one "Audio_ts" and "video_ts" and the audio folder is empty and the video folder is only 4.60mb and has VOB files in it
so im ??
hi

can someome help me by explaining why it wont work with my hubbys harddive attached to the console
thanks in advance :)
I'd advise you to use this thread link, I've been using it personally myself and I think iv'e done 3 games using this technique. Works fine 99% of the time or for me 100% of the time so far.
If your willing to donwload any games be ready to wait for a hell of a long time each game is probably about 7gb and needs to be burnt onto a dual layer.
