If it's just the idea that such a method of using our CPU time is somehow violating something about us, I can't make anyone disagree about that.

Let me just close off with this:

Using Life alone pretty much takes quite an insignificant amount of processing power. As a result, they decided to use that idle CPU time for something productive. Once you exit Life, the job will pause. In other words, there is really nothing to lose. (Very easily, you could even pretend that Folding@home isn't even running.) I am aware of the fact that our PS3s need to run their jobs while we use Life, but the effect is pretty much unnoticable.

guess who's got full internet working on FaH ME THATS WHO! (Sorry 'bout cheesy line but I had to do something to stop everyone getting so depressed and killing themselves) just go on to news channel and pick a feed. it is supplyed by google so once browser opens click on search, search page will appear and off you go!!!
