I'm trying to burn a few files onto a dvd-r and I get this error in ImgBurn:

This is a very crappy laptop burner trying to read very crappy discs. Both should be replaced. Start by using only top grade media like Tayio Yuden or Verbatim.

99% of all problems are between the computer and the chair.

Do you think by getting new disks it will fix the problem? I don't feel like buying more and then not be able to burn, although that may be the only way to find out.
